So if you want to make a quick connect flush attachment for your boat, you just need to
0:04
get this piece here from the engine, so you know what size fitting you'll need
0:08
You'll stop by the hardware store and get this T-fitting, the quick connects for the hose
0:12
about 8 feet of marine water hose, and a fitting to go from the quick connect to your 3 8ths inch
0:17
hose. Then we'll just need to follow this hose here into the engine. Cut it and insert the
0:22
T-fitting between the two pieces of hoses. We'll pull the rigging tube off the engine
0:27
and feed our hose into the engine and attach it to the T-fitting
0:31
Once that's hooked up, we'll run the hose through the rigging tube and out the other side
0:35
Then we can just put the rigging tube back on the engine and connect our quick connect
0:39
fitting to the hose, and then test out our new quick connect system. You want to make sure that
0:44
there aren't any leaks in the system both here at the fitting and also inside the engine cowling
0:49
especially when the engine is running. Now you can enjoy easily flushing your outboard
