We recently bought a Hunter 23 with bottom paint flaking off all over the place

Either it didn't get prepped right or they didn't sand the bottom and then just painted

it and have a good surface to adhere to. If it's being painted on fresh gel coat that has wax in it, paint will flake off because

it can't stick
