Welcome back to the channel guys. Today we will be fixing the water leak coming from the flushing port on a Mercury Verado

Enjoy the video and then get back out on the water. So you've got water squirting out of there. This is a flushing tee fitting here with two Oetker clamps and a push clamp on the bottom

What you are going to need is a pair of pliers. You want to pinch the top of the clamp here and then twist the clamp

It will pop off and you can then pull it out of there. Now just remove the clamp from the bottom. Then you can pull off the two hoses on the top

Install new clamps on both hoses and the new flushing tee. It is very important that you leave the old tee on the bottom hose so that it does not fall down behind the charge air cooler

Take this clamp and put it on the bottom hose after you carefully pull it off the old fitting and put it on the new one

Now just take a pair of crimpers and crimp the Oetker clamps down

And you're done. You've successfully stopped the water leak and are ready to get back on the water
