You notice how there are two notches right here, and you know, that's just however big the inside of this one is

So what we need to do is make a tool that is going to fit inside of here, but have something that will have notches on it

Two screws, a piece of wood, and the lower unit just kind of fits in the gap in the skeg

So that's what holds a lower unit, nice way to create something to hold your low unit

But we're going to be using this piece of wood right here. I'm actually going to chop this off to make it flat

And then we need to do some whittling to get this down to the size that'll fit inside of our fitting there on the boat

A couple tools that I've made throughout the years. Here is some adapters usually for lower units

So once you pull the lower unit off of the boat, you can see on the water pump housing, there is a hole there

And so you need a various size hoses because there's a pipe that fits down into here

Being this pipe right here, which is our water tube, and that's what gets water up into the powerhead

That's what that looks like on the lower unit. And so sometimes you want to hook water up straight to that pipe

And so I've made a bunch of miscellaneous ones that'll hook straight to a garden hose and then the end of them are just built for miscellaneous tube sizes that will then fit over that water tube, hook it to the garden hose, and then you can put water straight there

Same thing, you can cap them. So that way, if you don't want any water to come out, but just a couple of things that I've made throughout the years

This one's pretty interesting. This is just a bolt with a grease fitting stuck on it used for young

Yamaha caling latch handles. Take the one bolt out, put this one in there, put a grease gun on there

had to make right here this is just a drain plug took a grinder and cut lines in it

and so this will clean out the threads of your drain plug

So if you have problems with your drain plug starting to corrode, you can just get another plug

cut the lines out of it, and you have made yourself a thread chaser that you can stick in there

It'll clean all the stuff off the threads and pack it into here, and then you can pull all that junk out of the boat

Same thing with grinding down sockets to fit into small areas that you need to make it fit

Obviously, you don't want to use snap on. You want to get yourself some cheap drop for

Right here is a wire brush, epoxyed into a long handle that I can put on a drill and then run it to clean something that was very, very far away

I can hook this straight to a battery, and then I can take this and move it back and forth

It's just an engine harness that hooks straight to a Yamaha engine, and then I have
