The first way, and clean way, requires you to get a jar, some water, drop in your stat

a thermometer, and then heat it up to see when, if, and at what temperature the thermostat

opens up. Then there's the dirty way, where you just torch that bad boy and see if she opens up

If it does, you're good to go. If it doesn't, trash it and get a new one
